About Me

Patrick McPolin school of motoring is a independent driving school. Setup by myself Patrick McPolin a Department of Transport approved driving instructor . I founded the driving school with a belief that one driving instructor can make a difference to local road safety.

I am fully approved by the Department of Transport to teach CAR. I have formerly been a driving instructor at large organizations such as London Transport, Transport direct Group, AA driving school, and BSM driving school. I gained extensive experience in teaching tomorrows drivers 'today . I believe strongly in continuing professional development training and I have attained many training courses to keep up to date with our changing world.

After over 15 years experience as a professional driving Instructor I still find the complete novice the most enjoyable to teach.

A question i am asked a lot is, 'why should I choose an independent driving instructor over say a large national driving school!' Well, with an independent driving instructor you will know he or she will be fully qualified, as by law all independent instructors must be fully qualified. The same is not true for large driving schools.

You will also know who the instructor will be and have the same instructor though-out your training. It is true that only good instructors will have gained the experience necessary to gain and keep a good repetition.
